Kathryn F. Rowe, 92, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at home. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Trimble) Lesher. Kathryn was the wife of the late Chester Rowe who died in 1955.

Kathryn was employed by Lancaster Salted Nut Company. She was a member of Pearl Street United Methodist Church and enjoyed puzzles, gardening, and the outdoors.

Kathryn is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Rowe of Lancaster, and Kay Woodard wife of Gerald of Elmira, NY, a step-son, Kenneth Rowe of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren, Sheri, Michael, and Chanda, 3 great grandchildren, Lexis, Josh, Cody, 2 sisters, Violet Dull of Lititz, and Leta Barton of Lancaster, and a brother, Roy Lesher of Windsboro, SC.

She was preceded in death by a son Chester Rowe Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 at 1 p.m. Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home before the service from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Interment will follow at Riverview Burial Park.
