Henrietta R. Rogers, 93, of Lancaster, passed away on April 22, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice Boose Leary.  Henrietta was the wife of the late John R. P. Rogers who died in 1988.

She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Conestoga View.  She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where she had been involved with the Senior Citizens Club.

Henrietta is survived by a son, Patrick H. husband of Jeanette Rogers of Lancaster, PA. herseven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews: Mike, Cindy, Terry & Susie, and Marie & Patty and all their children. Henrietta was preceded in death by a stepson, John Rogers, Jr.; three sisters, Bernice Lemen, Mary Rhodes and Helen Kohler; and two brothers, Henry “Bud” Leary and Dick Leary.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2001 at 12 Noon at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev.
