Alta M. Roach, 81, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County in Mount Joy.

She was the wife of the late Maitland W. Roach, who passed away in 1993. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Grace Mentzer Sauder.

She had been a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Alta is survived by her children: Sandra L. married to Gerald Rutt of Deltona, FL, Cynthia C. married to Robert A. Wimmer of Landisville, Randy R. married to Catherine Schnader of Roscoe, IL, Linda L. married to Roger Good, Bird-In-Hand, PA, Candra L. married to Kenneth M. Goddu of West Chester, Deborah A. married to Lester R. Snader of Georgetown, MA, and Terry L. married to Susan Walsh of Coatesville, PA; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a sister Irene McElyea of Maryland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alta's celebration of life service to be held at Faith Church  2124 Old Philadelphia Pike Lancaster, PA at 11AM on Saturday, February 19, 2011 with the Rev.
