Rachel and I graduated in the same year at Loyola.  We had many mutual friends so I knew what a great person she was.  Her passing is tragic not only because she was so young, but because I knew that it was her dream to be a pro bono lawyer and help those who truly needed it and we need more people like that in this world.  I am deeply sorry for your loss and I hope that you find comfort in knowing that she was admired by many of her Loyola classmates.

Rachel and I went to law school together and worked together our first year after graduation. Rachel was such an amazing person. She was so funny, witty and charming. I am deeply saddened and stunned to have learned of Rachel's passing. I lost touch with all of you after I moved to Florida in '86. When I finally came back to PA I attempted to look you all up and see how the kids were doing, but with no luck. I remember them as babies and toddlers. What a wonderful threesome they were to babysit. I take great pride in knowing that I was Leah and Rachel's first babysitter, not sure if I was Robbie's (that's what you all called him as a baby) and still feel privilege that you entrusted me to watch them. They have always had a special place in my heart all these years. What a beautiful young woman Rachel turned into. I can only imagine how beautiful Leah and handsome Robert are.
