Helen
M. Polansky, 88, of Pequea, PA, passed away on Friday, September
30, 2011, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was the
wife of the late Joseph Polansky, who passed away in 1997. Born in
New Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and
Anna Nemetz Kristoff.
Helen had
worked as a seamstress for a sportswear garment factory on
Brockton, PA for 11 years.
Helen enjoyed
the outdoors, spending her time gardening or in her backyard.
She was a
member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Helen is
survived by her children: Helene M. Mowday companion of Ralph A.
Gehring of Pequea, Joseph R. Polansky of Pequea, and Roseanne M.
married to Steven Hahn of Conestoga; her two grandchildren
Danielle Eshleman and Casey Hahn, and by her brother Edward
Kristoff.
Friends will
be received on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 930-1030AM at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA, with the
Mass to follow at1030AM, the Rev. Leo Goodman as Celebrant.
Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday,
October 5th. In lieu of flowers, please make
