Regina S. O’Connor, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Lancaster General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Benson M. O’Connor, who died in 1989. Born in Lancaster, Mrs. O’Connor was the daughter of the late Frank X. and Anna Krimmel Schaller.

Mrs. O’Connor had worked as an executive secretary of the former RCA Corporation, retiring after 30 years of service.

She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and the church’s Senior Club. She also belonged to the Sacred Heart Hospitality Club.

Mrs. O’Connor was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret E. Luckenbill of Bronxville, NY; her granddaughter E. Colby Luckenbill of Chicago, IL; her two brothers Francis X. married to Marianne A. Schaller of Lancaster and Dr. James married to Marianne E. Schaller of Blue Bell, PA; and by her two sisters, both of Lancaster, Paula Forberger and Helen married to Robert Wiegand. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Julianna Schaller, Rosemary Haldeman, Dorothy Bradley, Anna Lauer, Arlene Forberger, and Mildred Bentley.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 10:30-11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, PA, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM.
