Eugene V. Lefever, 78, of Lancaster City, passed away on July 27, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster Essa Flory. He was born in Lancaster to the late Veryl J. and Edna Lefever.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn M. (Fenstermacher) Lefever in 2004.

Gene retired from the heat treating department with K.D. Tool Company after 36 years.

He is survived by a step-son, Neal Bushong, of Lancaster City, step-daughter, Judith Hill, of AZ, four step-grandchildren, two sisters, Joyce Suter, of Lancaster, Nancy Matrango, of Ephrata, three brothers, Clarence Lefever, of Columbia, Gerald Lefever, of Columbia, and Harold Lefever, of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by four sisters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 2pm at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 with the Rev. Roseann Goldberg officiating. A viewing will be held at Snyder’s from 1-2pm. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park.
