Dear Fran,
I was SO sorry to hear about the passing of your husband, Jerry.
I express my sympathy. Little did we know that our loved
ones...your husband and my mother, Irene Groff, would be taken
home days apart. They are now safe and healed....in the arms of
Jesus. How faithful you were in visiting and supporting your
husband.
I would love to meet with you to chat some time later. I will
try to look you up.
Bless you,
Nancy Riker
Frances:
We shed a tear when we read of your dear husband's passing on
Friday. You and Jerry were always, without exception, so kind
and caring for us as we walked a similar path with our father,
Dan Graybill Jr. There is a fellowship we find in going through
the tough times, isn't there? We're so thankful that Jerry and
Dan could share some space at Landis Homes, not just with
adjoining rooms, but with a warm companionship. You're in our
prayers as you walk through this time of loss and grief. May God
comfort you and give you His peace,
Liz and Dean Jurgen
(daughter and son in law of Dan)
Dear Fran,
I sensed from you last week the end may be near for Jerry, but
still surprised when I heard. I'm so sorry for your lost, but I
know some relief has come. I grieve because I will miss you so
much--you will never know how much you have encouraged me--May
you be blessed. My brother and I would like to invite you to
have noon meal with Mom and Dad and our families on Sunday the
17th at 12:15 at Landis Homes. Please call me at 717-575-7345.
Love,
Becky Landis (Earl Graybill's daughter)
Dear Fran,
Please accept my sympathy. I shed a few tears when I read the
news in the paper on Sunday. My prayers have been with you ever
since. It was such a pleasure to get to know you and Jerry as
we spent time together at Landis Homes. You certainly took
special care of Jerry as he went through the difficult times.
You are a true blessing. Now I will continue to keep you in my
prayers as you go through this time of mourning. If you would
find time to go to lunch, please give me a call. I would really
enjoy spending time with you. With my love and sympathy, I'll be
anxious to get a call from you.
