Dolores L. Kauffman

Dolores L. Kauffman, 66, of Lancaster City, passed away on March 6. She was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Jenkins) Pickell.

Dolores was formerly a computer operator for Bear Distributing Company, Inc. East Petersburg and more recently a cashier at John Herr's Village Market, Inc., Millersville.

She was a graduate of Penn Manor High School.

Survived by a son, Kevin S. Kauffman, companion of Janice K. Dempsey, of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Pickell and sister, Connie Pickell.

Sorry hear about her passing.  May Dolores rest in peace.  I had worked with her at John Herrs Market.

Dolores Kauffman was very special to me.  I go to John Herr's every week  and always went to her check out.  I am handicapped and she always was so  kind to me. I never heard her complain about anything or anyone and I always  looked forward to seeing her.  She told me she was having some problems with  her heart but I had no idea it was as serious as it must have been. She  rests now with no pain.  She was a good person and I really will miss her.
 

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.  I worked at Bears Distrib. with her for many years.
