Dear Shawn, Quincy, and families,

Your Mom was a wonderful person.  She had been cutting my hair for 27 years and she had been cutting my boys hair for the past 13 years.  I enjoyed the times that I spent with her.  She will be greatly missed by all of us.  She was taken too soon.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My Dear Shawn and Graylin and all of Debbie's Family :
Words! I have been searching for those touching profound words that will bring comfort. But alas I fall short!
This week like so many in the pass I have been contacted by one or more of those that I love and find out of a personal loss of their loved one, and I ask God for help to be there for them in what ever capacity they may need.
I am only capable of this at this time.  That I love you and our time together mattered. One thing Debbie left behind is Love, so much love. Just look at her sons and grandchildren.  For those who we were gifted to be with, for what ever period of time is just that, a gift.  Is there ever enough time? I can only hope and pray that we have made the most of the time together as is so evident with Debbie's family.

Eric wanted me to extend you to his sorrow for your loss, and that he was thinking about you and yours at this time.

I hope someday if sense can be made of our time here on earth, that each and every soul that we have been blessed to love, will without a doubt be there to smile and laugh with us, as we look at this experience called “Life.”

Consider yourself loved and hugged.
Paula

Shaw and Family,

Your Mom was a very special person who I have known and looked forward to my appointments for over twenty years. We would always talk about our families and you could tell by the conversations how proud and caring she was. I will truly miss her.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Sue, Tina and Jessica Finch

Dear Shawn,

I am deeply sorry for your loss.  I feel fortunate to have known your mother through you and the light and laughter she brought to the salon will always be in my memory.  We were the same age and, as you know, you were in my stepson Scott's class in school.  I always felt a connection with her as a mother because of that.  She exemplified motherly love and I know your life was richer for her passions and interests. The impact she had on Graylin's life will help carry him through his adult years.  God bless all of you.

Janet Stone

My love and deepest sympathy to you and Graylin.  Your mom was a wonderful person and someone so special will never be forgotten. I will miss my AMC buddy.

Shawn and Graylin, I have been praying for the both of you as well as your Mom/Grandmother. Very few sons and grandsons have the opportunity and blessing of having such a caring Mother and Grandmother. She was more that ....she was your friend. Treasure the time you had together. Remember the three of you will meet in Heaven one day. My sister went to heaven December 2010, and my mother met her in Heaven March 17 2011. I feel very comforted to know they are both out of pain now, and are happy. That doesn't mean I don't miss them or think of them often...they are part of my soul.

I am not saying you won't feel grief, sometimes anger, or a lack of understanding "why". Lean on Jesus, and He will carry you through this. You have so many friends who care for you, and want to do something to help. Don't hesitate to call on us. Much love, understanding and prayers.
Love,
Sheila
