William Hildebrand, 86, of Manheim, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County.  Born in Columbia, PA, he was the son of the late Marie (Schlotthauer) and William Hildebrand.  William was the husband of Rachael (Devitt) Hildebrand with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage.

William worked as a truck driver for 40 years with Yellow Freight.  After he retired, he worked at Manheim Tire and Auto Center part-time.  He is a member of Battle of the Bulge, a veteran's group, and the Manheim VFW. 

Surviving in addition to his wife Rachael, is a son Bill Cleary of Harrisburg, PA and many nieces and nephews.  William was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Hildebrand.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Charles F.
