Nancy
Mae Wildasin Grasser, 79, of Columbia passed away peacefully on
Monday, November 14, 2011 at Manor Care, Lancaster after a brief
illness. Born in York, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward
and Della (Wehler) Wildasin.
Nancy
graduated from West York High School. She was a member of St.
John’s Lutheran Church, The Pilot Club, and the
Columbia-Middletown Elks #1074. She enjoyed reading and
vacationing at the beach in Delaware. She was a homemaker for many
years and previously worked at Lancaster Office Equipment and
Supplies for over ten years. The family wanted to extend a thank
you for the loving care provided to Nancy by the staff at Manor
Care, Lancaster.
She is
survived by her children: a son, Robert Grasser, husband of Beryl,
of Reinholds, and her daughter Julie Groft, wife of Lenny, of
Landisville. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Joshua and
Jacob Grasser and Drew and Austin Groft. She was preceded in death
by an infant son, William Grasser and by her companion Arthur
Campbell.
Services will
be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Nancy’s memory to
the Columbia-Middletown Elks #1074, 445 Chestnut St. P.O. Box 549
