Roza
Fraschek, 86, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, December 25, 2011
at LGH. Born in Budapest, Hungary, she was the daughter of the
late Sandor and Bognar Hajdu. She was a good neighbor, babysitting
many of the friends and neighbors children.
She enjoyed puzzles, talking world politics and geography. She
also enjoyed going out to eat.
When she lived in Hungary, she was employed as a taxi cab driver.
She was a retired seamstress.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She will be lovingly missed by her friends, neighbors and the
children that she so loved that she babysat for, as well as The
Gery, Ressler, and the Szurok families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Geza Fraschek and her
son, Peter G. Fraschek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 29,
2011 at 11AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph
Street, Lancaster, PA with Rev. Joseph Hilbert as Celebrant. Final
Farewell and Commendation will be in St. Joseph New Catholic
Cemetery. Friends and family can view at the church between 10 and
11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in
Roza’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude
