My thoughts and prayers are with you!

A few words cannot begin to share the love and respect that I have always had for Jack. In 28 years of teaching, I can name 3 or 4 people who have made me the teacher I am today and Jack was one of them. There is not a year that goes by, since he retired from CV, that I do not mention his name to a younger teacher who did not know him.  I usually share a story with these young teachers about his ability to listen to concerns and help make decisions that were always in the best interest of children. He was an administrator who thought and lived his job through the eyes of a dad, grandparent, friend, and colleague and most importantly as he would often tell me "Joan is an elementary teacher". He could made great decisions and could lead because he understood all of these rolls.

Over the years, I have come to understand that God's most wonderful Grace is evident in the thing's that God has given us that we really do not deserve. Jack's short time in my life is a powerful example of God's Wonderful Grace; God gave me far more than I ever deserved.

May God grant you an extra measure of peace and comfort in your time of grief.

Craig Ausel
