Annetta
M. Dieck, 79, of Sunbury, passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at
Sun Home Health & Hospice Center. Born in Danville, PA she was the
daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Hale) Gross. Net was the
loving wife of David R. Dieck Sr. with whom she celebrated 58
years of marriage this past October 18th.
Net was
employed by the Sunbury hospital as a Pharmacy Technician until
her retirement in 1983. She then spent many years volunteering at
the hospital in many different aspects. She was a member of the
Eastern Star #266, and Zion Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Net
was an avid Penn State fan, who enjoyed playing Bridge and the
most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially
her children and grandchildren.
Surviving in
addition to her husband David R. Sr. are 2 children; David R.
Dieck Jr. husband of Lisa of Mountville, PA, and Janet R. Yalch
wife of Kevin of Mountville, PA. 5 grandchildren; Adam Yalch,
Andrew Dieck, Alex Yalch, Allison Dieck, and Zachary Dieck.
She was
preceded in death by a son Keith A. Dieck who passed away in 1986.
A Memorial
Service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Zion Lutheran
Church

S. 5th St,
Sunbury,
PA
17801 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard Fangman Officiating. Family and
friends will be received at the Church before the service from 1
p.m.-2 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Pomfret Manor
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to
Zion Lutheran Church
