Mildred Arlene Conlin, 80, of Lancaster died at home on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Caroline Schollhamer Kirchner. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Conlin Jr. who died October 23, 2010.

Mrs. Conlin was a telephone operator with Bell of Pennsylvania and retired in 1985.

Her memberships include St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Telephone Pioneers of America, Dutchland Polkateers, Lancaster Rec, Happy Hours and St. Anthony's Senior Citizens

Surviving are two children: Barbara A. wife of Jerry Nixon, Alaska, Michael E. Conlin life partner of Charles Radkowski, Florida, three grandchildren: Seth M. husband of Kimberly Painter, Allison M. wife of Richard Millar, Anthony Torres and four great grandchildren: Madeline, Melanie, Molly and Audrey. She is survived by a sister: Ruth B. wife of William Ziegler.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marie and five siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11:00AM with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. There will be a viewing at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E.
