Emma
J. Trout, 74, of New Providence, PA died Wednesday, August 18,
2010 at her home. Born in Honeybrook, she was the daughter of the
late Martin and Florence (Watson) Harsh. Emma was the wife of
William W. Trout Sr. and they were married for 42 years.
Emma was a
factory worker at Kerr Manufacturing and previously worked at
Herman’s Day Care in Lancaster.
Surviving
besides her husband are two sons: William W. Jr. husband of Julia
Trout, New Providence, Martin Harsh, Lancaster, five
grandchildren; Tyler and Daulton Trout,
Britney,
Tera, and Daryle Harsh, four sisters: Dorothy Lasko, VA, Thelma
Rittenhouse, Lancaster, Pearl Fox, AL, Laura Howe, Lancaster and
two brothers: Samuel Harsh, Conestoga, and Christ Harsh,
Elizabethtown.
Emma was
preceded in death by four brothers; Edward, Harold, Marvin and
Phares Harsh and three sisters: Blanche, Reba and Florence “Sis”.
Emma enjoyed
going to auctions, garage sales and spending time with her
grandchildren.
A Memorial
Service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E.
King Street, Lancaster, PA on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 7:00PM
with Rev. Stephen Cote officiating. Friends may pay their respects
to the family from 6-7:00PM at the funeral home on Monday evening.
