Evelyn E. Sullivan

Evelyn E. Sullivan, 84, of 20 Yardley Green, Lancaster, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at her home.

 Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clyde H. and Helen Fritsch Fellenbaum. She was the loving wife of 63 years to the late Jere J. Sullivan, who died in September 2006.

 Mrs. Sullivan worked for St. Mary’s cafeteria for over 20 years. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lancaster. Evelyn loved going to the beach house in Bethany Beach, DE. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Surviving are her sons, Raymond and Jere, her daughters, Evelyn, Cynthia, and Sharon, 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and her brother, Donald Fellenbaum.

Friends will be received at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 6-8PM. A time of sharing will begin at 7:30PM.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a nice person and I was glad she was part of my childhood. I will always remember how she "made' us walk to St. Mary's with all the snow on the ground. I know we grumbled as we walked and she just laughed at us. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
