Mary Elizabeth Scott, 82, of Lancaster died Friday night, June 4, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Foreberger.

Mary Elizabeth was the wife of Walter M. Scott. They were married September 17, 1955. She was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Conestoga View for 15 years.

Surviving besides her husband is a son: Gregory Scott of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Paul Foreberger.

 For those of us that knew her, we were touched by a kind soul. Rest in peace.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, PA on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00AM with Msgr. Thomas Smith as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Riverview Burial Park. Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 10-11:00AM. Flowers will be received or contributions may be made in Mary Elizabeth's memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Arrangements are by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home.
