Jack L. Rote, 81, of Lancaster, PA
passed on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at home surrounded by his
family. He was born in Ephrata to the late Harry and Helen (Styer)
Rote.
Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Ann
(Kissinger) Rote of forty-five years.
He served his country with US Army and
was stationed in Germany.
Jack was a self employed painter
owning Jack Rote Painting for forty-five years.
He was a member of the Millersville
VFW Post #7294. Jack enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Surviving in addition to his wife, a
son, Jack Rote, Jr. husband of Deborah, of Landisville, a
daughter, Jill Kephart, wife of Albert II, of Maytown, four
grandchildren, Dustin, Elliott, Albert III, and Jennifer.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service
will take place on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10am from the
Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St.
Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held at Snyder's from
9-10am. Interment will take place in Riverview Burial Park with
Military Honors rendered by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Schreiber
Pediatric Center 635 Community Way Lancaster, PA 17603. To send
