I only met Matthew's brother, Jon, one time at the 40th birthday party of my boyfriend David Sieglitz.  My heart went out to Jon, and his family, when I read of Matthew's passing this past week.  I lost my husband in 2008, and the struggle of losing someone so young is devastating.  My deepest sympathies to his parents, siblings, girlfriend and family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss.Matt was a great guy. I remember how Matt always tried to be nice to everyone in school no matter who they were. He grew into a very respectable man, I just wish God would have seen fit to give him more time with us. But, at least now he is in a place of no pain or sorrow.
