Olive R.
Oberle, 86, of Lancaster, passed away on December 25, 2010 at her
home. She was born in New Milford, NJ and was the daughter of the
late John J. and Lucy (Mueller) Reeth.
Olive was
preceded in death by her husband, Frederic G. Oberle in 1971.
Olive was an
executive secretary prior to her retirement for Alcoa, New Holland
Machine Company, and Yellow Freight.
She was a
member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and former member of
St. Anne's.
Olive is
survived by a son, Christopher J., husband of Bette Oberle, of
Lititz, two daughters, Mary Ann McNaughton, wife of William, of
Kirkland, WA, and Jeanne Weis, wife of Gerry, of Estero, FL,
five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother, John
Reeth, Jr., of Highland Lakes, NJ, two sisters, Viola Madden, of
Manahawkin, NJ, and Ruth McGlew of VT. She was preceded in death
by a son, Michael J. Oberle and two sisters, Rita Quandt, of
Brick, NJ and Helen Brock.
Relatives and
friends are respectfully invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on
Thursday December 30, 2010 from St. John Neumann Catholic Church
601 E. Delp Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601 at 11am with The Rev. Paul J.
Theisz as Celebrant. A viewing will be held at the church from
10-11am. Final Farewell and Commendation will be in St. Joseph New
Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Olive's
