I have worked with Scotties' Aunt Sue
Stoutzenberger for many years. I also have walked in your shoes
with two of my sons. It is not easy being a parent. We just do
the best we can. My heart is full of sorrow for the whole
family. Please know that your family is in our prayers.
With Heart-felt Sympathy,

Scottie played softball for our church
(Clearfield U.M.) and he was such a good player. Shannon and I
wish to extend our condolences to the family. I know he will be
deeply missed be everyone that knew him. He was always fun to be
around and always had a good time. Shannon liked playing ball
with him and all the others. We will always remember his
positive attitude.

I have so many memories with scott. He was one
of my best friends, and touched my heart with his views, his
talents and his crazy ways. Scott was one of a kind. He made a
lasying impression on anybody he met. Im so sorry to his family.
Scott and his family are in mine, and my families thoughts and
prayers. We miss u scott.
Scott, Deb, and Ryan,
It was an honor to have your son and brother in our lives. Joe
and I have always felt that he was part of our family. My
family shares so many fond memories of Scottie. When ever you
think of a story that involved Scott it surely is followed with
uncontrolled laughter. His sense of humor, his ability to light
up any room he entered will be missed by all. Although his time
with us has been brief it was filled with a life time of
wonderful memories. You're in our prayers. We pray that God
lifts you up with his mighty and loving hands and carries you
through this time of sorrow.

Myself and my husband had the pleasure of
meeting Scottie through our son Shawn, he too was involved in
the car club. He was so sweet and a very respectful young man.
He thought it odd that neither my husband or myself thought of
him oddly due to all his tattoos, and piercing. I then found out
through a friend that I had worked with his aunt at LRMC. His
aunt (Sue S) worked closely for a few years and I can recall her
saying how sweet of a kid he was. My most deepest thought's and
prayer are with all of you, even though these are words I hope
you can find some comfort, and know that Scottie will be truly
missed. All of Scottie family and friends will be in our
thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Troy, Shawn and Cheryl Fryberger

We did not know Scottie all that well but whenever we would see
him at baseball, he was always so nice and polite and fun to
talk with. I cannot even begin to imagine what your family is
going through right now but please know you are in our thoughts
and prayers as you go through the many stages of the healing
process. God bless each of you.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our
scottie. We loved him as if he were our own son and brother. We
have so many memories of scottie, from when we first got to know
him with curts 6th birthday party, to the trouble curt and scott
would get into on school field trips. There were the times deb
and I would have to hunt them down in our cars because they were
gone on there bikes and we did not know where they were, To all
the different adventures and inventions they would come up with
as they grew up.Were really going to miss seeing scott, curt,
and jeremy together as they were always together. Im going to
miss talking football with scott we could always complain about
his redskins and my eagles. Our hearts are aching, We share your
grievance and we miss him already. He will hold a special place
in our hearts forever!
With much love and sympathy from jim deb curtis and kayla sayres.

He was just hanging out with all of us the
other week. And then a few days later we got the unbelievable
news. He was a great friend to me. He was such an amazing guy.
He had the biggest heart and would help anyone at an given
chance. Its sad to see him go. I miss him. We all miss him. I am
so very very sorry for your loss.
Scott,Deb, Ryan.
Just want to say how sorry i am to hear of your loss. I know he
is in a better place. We all have the best of memories and he
will never be forgotten. One thing i want to say is Fish on
Scottie.
Our family was very saddened to hear of your
loss. Losing a child at any age is one of the most difficult
times in life. After the loneliness of them not being there and
after you went through all the "what if's," is when you can
begin to live again without them. It may take days, months or
years but that time does come. Just keep him alive in your heart
and memories, that's what helped me through the loss of our son.
We will keep your family in our prayers that God comforts you
and keeps you strong during this most difficult time.
The Sarver family
Scottie was the unanimous choice the year he
received the Umpire of the Year award for Penn Manor Little
League. Everybody - fellow umpires, coaches, players, and
parents all remarked about his skill, maturity, calmness and
kind demeanor. Scottie was the League's first youth umpire so
honored, and he paved the way for the other young men who
followed in his footsteps. His success gave them the confidence
to try something new and give back to the community like he
had. They all looked up to Scottie. We adults all thought of
him as a terrific young man. As a representative of Penn Manor
Little League, Scottie always upheld the standards of the League
and carried himself with dignity. His life was too short but his
legacy lives on. Scottie will always be remembered, especially
on those perfect spring and summer nights under the lights at
Hobo Hollow.

cheering for Ryan, Derek, Mitch and RJ. He was always a sweet
and respectful young man. They were such happy times. Our

Your loss of a good son is a very hurtful event. I am very
sorry this happened. Try to remember that this is only
temporary. The gates of heaven
opened for Scottie and later you will see him again through
Jesus. Please ask
Jesus to be your Savior and Lord of your live.
Our heart is with you now

My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of an
amazing young man. I can still see that wonderful smile! He
played softball on our church league with my son, Steven, who
thought the world of Scotty. He was always helping the younger
players, encouraging them and helping them out. Steven shared
how Scotty would always say to him when he stood at the plate,
"Let the first one go Steven, you got 2 more to swing at." What
a wonderful attitude for such a young man. He loved his family,
talked about the trips to Ocean City, Maryland and his family
adored him as they all came out to watch Scotty play ball.
Words can not express my deepest sympathy to you all especially-
Deb & Ryan. May you find comfort in God's word and happiness in
the memories of this amazing young man! Bless all of you!
