Timothy L. McAdams, Sr., 53, died unexpectedly at his home in Lancaster on Friday, March 5, 2010. Tim was the husband of Rebecca "Becky" J. Steiner McAdams since August, 2001. Born in Johnstown, he was the son of Elizabeth "Betty" Mundorf McAdams of New Florence, PA, and the late Joseph McAdams.

Tim served in the US Army at the end of the Vietnam War. He worked as a maintenance technician at Oakview Estates Apartments for Altman Management Company. He was a life member of Lancaster AMVETS Post 19 and Garden Spot VFW Post #1690, Lancaster, PA, and he belonged to the Riverside Camping Association.

In addition to his mother and wife, Tim is survived by five children, April A., wife of Laramie Richmond, San Antonio, TX, Timothy L., Jr., husband of Ramona McAdams, Bremen, GA, Robert W. McAdams, Morrisdale, PA, Crissy L., wife of John Depta, Scottsdale, PA and Amber M. McAdam, Lancaster, PA; 14 grandchildren and four siblings, Ernest McAdams, Connie Payne, Cindy Kochius and Joyce Hutchins.

A Viewing will take place on Thursday from 5-6:30 PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, followed by the Funeral at 6:30 PM, with The Rev.
