L. Martin 79, of 55 Quaker Hills Rd., Lancaster, passed away on
Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital.
She was the
wife of Donald W. Martin, with whom she celebrated 39 years of
marriage this past December 5th. Born in Scranton, she
was the daughter of the late Thomas and Tessie Lawson Hughes.
June had
worked in the offices of Crognall and Collins Family Dentistry of
Lancaster in both a fulltime and part-time basis for the past 18
years.
She enjoyed
gardening and attended First United Methodist Church in
Millersville. Her family was her greatest love in her life.
In addition to
her husband, June is survived by her daughter: Bonnie married to
James Colomb Sr. of Mohawk, NY; her 3 grandchildren James Colomb
Jr., Lori Bunce, and Karen Brown; 8 great grandchildren; her
sister Elizabeth Harvey of Scranton and several nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Robert and
Kenneth Hughes.
Friends will
be received on Thursday, April 15, 2010, from 6-8PM at the Charles
F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA.
Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
