Joseph C. Liebl, 81, of Lancaster died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Conrad and Mary Bauer Liebl.

Joseph was the husband of Helen E. Troyan Liebl and they celebrated 54 years of marriage on June 25 2009.

 He retired from Armstrong World Industries in 1994 after 38 years of service in the tile department. Previously he worked at Hamilton Watch before he served in the Army during the Korean War. 

He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Lancaster and a member of the American Legion Post 34. 

He was an avid Penn State Football Fan.

 Surviving besides his wife are three children; Rose Marie Liebl, Lancaster, Joseph D. husband of Shannon Liebl, Lancaster, Therese wife of Chad Walton, Conestoga, five grandsons: Michael, Alex, Ryan, Zachary, and Kyle and a brother, Albert Liebl, CA.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Liebl Zuchva.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 11:00AM with Rev. Mark Weiss as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. Relatives and friends may pay their respect to the family at the church on Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM. Please omit flowers.
