 Anna
R. (Annie) Landis, 79, of Lancaster died on Tuesday, April 6, 2010
at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Glenroy, PA, she was the
daughter of the late Jesse Mack and Buelah Mae Finney Reeves. Anna
was the wife of Richard Landis and they would have celebrated
their 52nd anniversary on April 18, 2010.
Anna was a
Nurses Aide and Monitor Tech for 43 years at Lancaster General
Hospital and retired in 1994. She was a member of Hempfield Church
of the Brethren.
Surviving
besides her husband are two daughters: Susan Landis companion of
Jennifer Young, Columbia, Linda wife of Robert P. Landis Jr.
Lititz, two grandchildren: Erin and Austin Landis, four sisters:
Mary Morrison, Barnsley, Pa, Hazel McMahon, Nottingham, Alma O.
Shoemaker, Quarryville, Reba Jane Deibler, Lancaster and one
brother Arnold O. husband of Louise Reeves,Coatesville
Anna was
preceded in death by a brother: J. Elwood Reeves.
A Funeral
Service will be held at the Hempfield Church of the Brethren, 1186
Stevens Street, Manheim, PA on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:00AM
with Rev. John Layman officiating. Interment will follow in
Conestoga Memorial Park. Friends may pay their respects to the
family at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110
Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 7-9:00PM and
on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 9-10:00AM at the church. Please
omit flowers. Contributions may be made in Anna's memory to
American Cancer Society, Relay for life of Lancaster County, 314
