I am so truly sorry for your loss.  You will all be in my prayers for a long time to come.  May your faith give you strength and your family and friends surround you with love.

It was such a joy to know Mike.  He was always so pleasant and very kind to me. He was just a blast to play volleyball with. He had such enthusiasm.  After a long volley he said "That was AWESOME!" He said it with such umph!  And we used that line from then on.  I still think of him whenever I hear the word awesome :)
He will be deeply missed.  May God bless you all.

Love,
Melody Keely

Dear Brandi and Family,

Broken Chain Poem:

We did not know that day, that God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide;
And though we can not see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

I am so sorry for your loss. You and Mike have something many wish for. Cherish your memories and hold them dear. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Much Love,
Angie Robinson

Dear Brandi and baby boys,
There are no appropriate words to describe how truly sorry I am for your loss. Though the hurt feels like it may never end, time has a way of healing the heart. And you will see that through your sons, Mike is still very much alive. Life and death is something as adults we all have experienced and understand. We know that it is a process. But it is never anything we can prepare ourselves for, especially when it is someone so close. With each passing day your heart and mind will grow a little stronger. There will be a time when you can share pictures and stories with your boys. And you will always have the fond memories that you have made as friends, as husband and wife, and as mother and father. Stay strong for your family and for yourself. My heart and prayers are with you at this time, and a long time to come.
Love,
Ashley Wagner and kids (Laurie Sextons sister)

Dear Brandi and sons,
I'm so terribly sorry for your Loss.  I didn't know your husband but he sounds like a great man, who touched many people.  I wish I had some good words of wisdom and comfort but this horrible tragedy leaves me at a loss.  I do know that you and the boys will get through this, with the help of the Hurst and Gregg Families and friends.  Please do not hesitate to have your parents or your Grandma Betty call on the Browns for anything that anyone needs.

Dear Brandi,
Our hearts are absolutely breaking that you have to experience this terrible loss. As we watched you grow, from putting on little dances with Andrea and Heather, to cheerleading, to your marriage and the beginning of your family, we never dreamt that such a tragedy would touch your life. May you draw strength and comfort from your many friends and family as they surround you with their love. You are ever in our thoughts and prayers.

Much love,
Keith and Joyce

Dear Wanda, Brian and Andrea,
Our hearts ache for you. You lost such an amazing son-in-law and brother-in-law.  Things that come to mind when we think of Mike are: the word "awesome"; a very energetic, fast-talking person; he was always very appreciative of anything we ever did for them; he never seemed to take things for granted; you could always see the love for his boys and Brandi in his face; loved sports; his EAGLES clothes; he was always there for Josh and Erin.  What a wonderful person we lost.  God be with all of you. We are here for you anytime for anything you may need - please remember, we love you!

Carl and Pats
