Esther Gibble, 86, of Lancaster, passed away, Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster Mount Joy. Born in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Amos S. and Sallie H. (Gingrich) Blouch. Esther was the wife of the late J. Clair Gibble who died April 23, 1993.

Esther was employed by Dr. David E. Schlosser as a Medical Secretary for over 20 years. She had a very strong faith and was a member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren. Esther was also a member of the Embroiders Guild and Lancaster Town Club. She enjoyed volunteering at Lancaster General, spending time with her close group of friends and most of all being with her family. Esther was a mentor to many.

Esther is survived by 2 children; Kathie Haigis wife of Bruce of Lancaster, and Sallie Hoppert of Lancaster. 2 grandchildren, Alicia Haigis, and Jennifer Baker both of Lancaster. A great granddaughter, Lily Baker, and a sister Edith M. Blouch of Palmyra.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Lancaster Church of the Brethren 1601 Sunset Ave. Lancaster, PA. 17601 at 4 p.m. Interment will be private at Graybill Cemetery.
