 Alice
A. Fry, 90, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010
at Hamilton Arms Center. She was born in Lancaster and was the
daughter of the late Calvin S. and Augusta (Kohler) Asper.
Alice was
preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Fry, Sr. in 1994.
She was raised
on Cabbage Hill in Lancaster City and attended St. Joseph's
Parochial School.
Alice was a
member of the Church of the Apostles.
Alice retired
in 1981 after 31 years as a Cook Manager for the School District
of Lancaster.
Prior to
moving to Hamilton Arms, Alice lived at Lancaster House North.
Alice's life revolved around family and friends. She enjoyed
family gatherings, cooking, baking, crafting, and crocheting.
She will be
lovingly remembered by her children: Alice Marie, wife of Edward
Brennan, of Millersville, Paul W., Jr., husband of Karen, of
Lancaster, Janice L., wife of Jeffrey W. Stetter, of Lancaster,
four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two great, great
grandchildren, and one sister, Hetty, wife of the late Adrian Meck
of Lancaster.
Relatives and
friends are respectfully invited to attend the Graveside Service
on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from the Millersville Mennonite
Cemetery, 435 Manor Ave. Millersville, PA at 2pm with the The Rev.
Tyson Frey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
in Alice's memory may be made to the Church of the Apostles, 1850
