E. Ferich, 86, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010
at Hospice of Lancaster, Mt. Joy. She was born in Lancaster to the
late Paul and Mary (Kling) Barley.
June is
survived by her loving husband, Charles V. Ferich. They were
married in Lancaster on November 9, 1946.
June was a
member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She was
employed as a sales clerk for many years at the former Watt &
Shand, Hess's, and Hager Department Stores.
June was a
member of the Sisters of the Iolani Palace in Hawaii, Women's
Auxillary of the 781st Bomb Squadron, and Honorary
member of the Boys and Girls Town.
She always
looked forward to the B24 reunions held every other year. June
enjoyed reading, puzzles, and traveling to Hawaii.
In addition to
her husband, Charles, she is survived by a daughter, Cindy Weaver,
wife of Richard, of Duncannon, PA, two grandchildren, two great
grandchildren, and one sister, Dorothy Flory, of Lancaster.
Funeral
Services will be private. Interment will take place in the
Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made in June's memory to Hospice of Lancaster
County 685 Good Dr. PO Box 4125 Lancaster, PA 17604. Arrangements
