Kornelia J. (Raschke) Eder, 85, of Lititz, passed away, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Moravian Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Aachen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katharine (Freidenhofen) Raschke. Kornelia "Nelly" was the wife of Joseph A. Eder with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage this past July 2.

Kornelia was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling. A loving wife, mother, aunt and grandma, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 sons; Joseph Eder husband of Huini (of Harrisburg, John Eder husband of Cynthia (Charles) of Lancaster, and Michael Eder of Lititz. 5 grandchildren. 1 step grandchild. A brother; Alfons Raschke, husband of Mary Ann of Lancaster. And a sister; Bernadine Gable, wife of Don of Florida.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Cornelia Eder.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 5, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church 505 Woodcrest Ave. Lititz 17543 at 11 a.m. with Rev. James O'Blaney as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received at the Church before the service from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
