 Carmen
Diaz, 77, of Lancaster, passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at
Hospice of Lancaster Essa Flory Center. Born in Arecibo, Puerto
Rico, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Cepero and
Librada Acevedo. Carmen was the wife of Carmelo Diaz with whom she
celebrated 52 years of marriage this past July 12th.
Carmen was a
member of El Redentor U.M. Church. She enjoyed music of the 50's
and 60's, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving in
addition to her husband Carmelo are 3 children, Grisel Pichardo
wife of Miguel of Lancaster, Carmelo Diaz Jr. of NY, NY, and Juan
A. Diaz of Jersey City, NJ. 7 grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren. A sister, Rosa Cepero of Edison, NJ, and a brother,
Angel M. Cepero of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
A Funeral
Service will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Charles F.
Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz,
Pa.17543 at 6:30 p.m.. Family and friends will be received at the
Funeral Home in Lititz from 5 p.m-6:30 p.m.. Interment will be
Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Linden Hills Cemetery, NY.
