Edward J. Conlin Jr., 83, of Lancaster, Pa died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Lebanon Veterans Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Jane L. Black Conlin.

He is the husband of Mildred A. Kirchner Conlin and they were married for 60 years last November.

Edward was a route supervisor and credit manager for Waste Management of PA for 21 years and retired in 1990. Prior to working at Waste Management, Mr Conlin was an agent for Baltimore Life insurance Company for 20 years.

He was a 1951 graduate of Millersville University with a BS in Education. He served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. 

His memberships include St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, St. Anthony's Senior Citizen Club, Lancaster Rec Happy Hours Club, Dutchland Polkateers, American Legion Post # 34.

Surviving besides his wife there are two children: Barbara wife of Jerry Nixon, Anchorage, Alaska, Michael E. Conlin life time partner of Charles Radkowski, Fort Lauderdale, FL., three grandchildren: Seth M. husband of Kimberly Painter, Allison M. wife of Richard Millar, and Anthony Torres and four great grandchildren: Madeline, Melanie, Molly, and Audrey.

Edward was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marie Conlin 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, Pa on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:00AM with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. There will be a calling time at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E King Street, Lancaster on Thursday from 9:30-10:30AM.
