I am so sorry to hear the news this morning.
I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Bowman. I will always
treasure the Christmas Eves, the ham salad and the discussing of
movies - old and new. She was a very special lady and I will
miss her unique sense of humor and outlook on life.
My condolences to the entire family.

To Bobbie's Family,
My sincere sympathy to Bobbie's family. Bobbie and I were
friends and classmates at Edward Hand Jr High School. I knew her
Mother and some of her younger brothers during that time. She
moved to Manheim Township, we kept in contact for a while but
then went our separate ways. I saw her out and about after we
both got married, but we never restarted our friendship. She was
a great friend and lots of fun in Jr High School. I have fond
memories of Bobbie. I loved her beautiful long blonde hair!
Sincerely,
Yvonne (Doster) Mitchell
My condolences to the entire family. I wanted
to let you know that I'm still thinking and praying for all you.
It was a pleasure meeting all of you and an absolute delight to
have known Mrs. Bowman. She has taught (and entertained) me,
more than she will ever know. She was and always will be one of
those special people that are "tops on my list" for a variety of
known and unknown reasons. She was a most unique woman and will
never be forgotten. I wish all of you well on the rest of life's
journey.
Sincerely,
Nadine
Lisa and Lori,
My deepest sympathies to all of you. Your mother was a dynamic,
force of nature who left her imprint on this world. I have many
fond memories of entertaining evenings in her kitchen listening
to her outlook on life.
Your devoted care during her illness was admirable. She was so
fortunate to have you both.
My thoughts are with you.
Peace,
Amy Sahm

Dear Lisa, Lori, Ed, Katie, and Tommy-
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I have many
memories of your Mom (Grandmom) that will always make me smile.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Bobbie:
When I was born, you were there and when I die, you will be
there too. You and I know each other. It's as if you were a
lighthouse to ships at sea. You've been to me my guiding light
for all that I could be. Adrift, alone, a child, I was without a
course to plot. You gave when I could not. The journey, started
way back then and I feel my thoughts deep down inside. They
hurt. I found a friend, in you, who shared her thoughts with me.
We were as close as two friends could be. As close as you and
Blue. You cared for life and what's to be. You cared enough to
see me through cloudy days and now I share with you, my Sister,
the heart of a little man who now puts out to sea, again.
Forever, shall your light shine for me. God, I miss you Bobbie!
Lisa and Lori,
I remember Mrs. Bowman as an intelligent, creative, resilient
woman who lived life on her terms. I am deeply sorry for your
loss.
Love,
Lisa
Dear Lisa, Lori,
Thank-you so much for allowing me to get to know your mother.I
really enjoyed taking care of her and just listening to the
stories she told. She was so proud of tommy and katie.I know she
really enjoyed my baking. I'll never forget the 1st time I met
her. She tried to be real tough on the outside and I knew the
first day she was someone I would like. So sorry for your loss,
Sincerely
Jamie Sine

Having just learned of Bobbie's passing still
has me in a sort of shock - I haven't seen her in several years

Dear Lisa and Lori,
May your most cherished memories of your Mother,(My
Sister),,give you peace and comfort in the days ahead and keep
her in your hearts forever ,as I'm sure you will be in hers.

To My Sister,
One of my favorite memories is of you is at Christmas time..How
you decorated your home, and gave me recipes like cherry
dearies.and colorful casseroles.Leah and I made cherry dearies a
Christmas tradition for many years. You gave me photo's of me
when I was little, and of Mother and Daddy as you would call
them, when they were young, as you knew them and I didn't,you
told me stories about them and my brothers,You know history of
our family that you were always willing to share. David still
remembers how you made a fuss over him when ever you saw him.We
too, know each other, more then I even realized.
Lisa and Lori,
Your mother was such a positive influence on all of us and was
one of numerous parent figures who helped to shape my thinking
as a child. I'll always remember her "illustrationy" Christmas
card displays and off-beat sense of humor. My deepest
condolences in your loss.
