Joyce, Donna, and Rob,
I can't tell you how saddened I am to hear of Bob's passing. I
know that he is now without pain, and for that I'm grateful!
As you celebrate his life, you can add me to the list of one of
his greatest fans. As youth leaders, he (and you too, Joyce)
impacted my life in profound ways. I was undoubtedly encouraged
in my growing faith, and made to feel like there was a place for
me in the church, both at Rossmere and beyond.
It's hard to not feel that he died too young. I'm sure you
struggle with that too. May God bring you peace! I'll be
especially remembering you over the holidays.
Blessings,
Sylvia (Clymer) Helmuth
Dear Joyce, Rob, and family,
I find myself today flooded with wonderful memories of Bob and
the ways in which he interacted with me and indeed us as we made
our way through those turbulent high school years. Memories of
the joint Rossmere/Blossom Hill youth group, days and nights
spent at your home on the New Danville Pike and memorable trips
to the cabin up north. Those adolescent years are so formative
and Bob was an important part of those years for me.
May God grant you peace as you remember and mourn this loss.
Andy Dula
Joyce and family,
Mim Clymer Hurst told us of Bob's passing. I always remember
you both with smiles on your faces and the blessings you added
to Rossmere Mennonite Church. We could always count on Bob to
add humor to the Rossmere socials. I know Bob will be missed.
My condolences to you and your family as you grieve and adjust
to life on this earth without your husband, father and
grandfather.
Dolores Clymer Myers
Joyce,
Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear of Bob. May the
Lord bless you during this time of sorrow. I recall of a lot of
neat times we had at Mechanics Grove Mennonite church growing
up. Our prayers go with you.
Larry Summers
Joyce, Rob, and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I have
known Bob for many years and enjoyed doing business with him. I
always respected him for his warmth, openness and honesty.
Heidi and I looked forward to visiting with Joyce and Bob on the
HON trips.
Rob, your dad was so proud of you and so happy that the business
he worked so hard to establish would continue to grow as he
passed it down to you.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
John Strittmatter
Joyce, Donna and Rob,
I am saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I know you will miss
him greatly.
Matthew 26:29 says, "I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit
of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with
you in my Father's kingdom."
I picture Jesus waiting, welcoming Bob with a wine glass in
hand, ready to welcome his arrival home. Then they will drink
of the fruit of the vine together.
May God's promises be your peace and comfort at this time.

To all the Bomberger Family.
You may not remember me, but I was in their home when Donald and
Galen were born. I often think of the good times I had with all
the children, especially over Christmas. May you feel God's
nearness with you.I know what it is like to lose a father before
we think it is time.
Joyce Gehman
I did not know Robert as long as most people,
he was a business associate of mine. On my first meeting with
Bob, he struck me as an honest, tough, but fair, person.
During subsequent meetings with Bob, my feelings were confirmed,
and so much more. Bob had a great sense of humor as well as a
understanding of the human condition.I am very happy, that I had
a chance to know such an extraordinary man. I am deeply saddened
that I will not see him any more. I am a better person for
knowing him.
My deepest and most heart felt condolences to Rob and everyone
in the Bomberger family.
Hello Joyce.
This is Laverne Clymer Bieling. Mim told me of Bob's passing.
I was saddened, indeed. I will never forget the influence you
and Bob had on me as a girl, in the Rossmere youth group, when
you were the youth group leaders. I looked up to the two of
you, and I remember Bob as fun loving, flexible and 'cool.' It
was great having such a positive influence in my life, when I
needed it.
May you find comfort in knowing that I have been thinking of you
and offering support to you in my prayers. I wish that I could
stop by and wish you Peace, but I am still in Denver, CO.
Blessings to you as you go forward and may Bob be with you
always in your heart and soul,
Laverne
