Frank E.
Adams, of Woodcrest Villa, Lancaster went to his eternal rest on
May 18, 2010, after a long illness.
He was the son
of the late Frank Edward Adams and Myrtle Alspach Adams. He was
preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Kurtz.
He is survived
by eight cousins: Mary Ellen Rebman, Lancaster to whom he was very
close for many years; Kathleen Harnish, Nancy Dorsey, Clara
Koenig, Vera Walton, Ruby Mentzer, Jack S. Adams and Robert E.
Adams.
Frank was in
the military for 20 years. He joined the cavalry when he was
seventeen and later transferred to the infantry. After his discharge, he
was employed by the Keppel Candy Company, until their dissolution
and later was employed by Millersville University from where he
retired.
Frank was a
member of the 8thWard Club, and a former member of the Amvets. He
enjoyed playing cards, watching television and riding around
Woodcrest Villa on his motor scooter.
A Private
Memorial Service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral
Home and Chapel with Pastor Jacquie Sheely officiating. Interment
will be private and held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. To
