Ruth M. Ziegler, 94, a resident of Lancaster County her entire life, died on December 27, 2009 at Maple Farms, Akron. Born in Leacock Twp., she was the daughter of the Late Parke and Lulu B. Reed Rynier. She was the wife of the late Henry L. Ziegler who died in 1978. She was employed by Samco Manufacturing, Lancaster, and Hershey Garment, Paradise, as a seamstress.

 Ruth was a member of Farm Women's # 13 and the Ladies Aux. of the Osteopath Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, traveling the world, and collecting angels. 

 Surviving are her sons, Michael H. Ziegler, husband of Lynda, of Bird-in- Hand, and Patrick H. Ziegler, husband of Georgina L., of Ephrata, a granddaughter, Tammy Lantz of Leola, two great grandchildren, Cameron and Paige Lantz of Leola. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy V. Rynier of Paradise and a brother, Parke Rynier of Gordonville. Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay and Earl Rynier and two sisters, Janet and Betty Rynier.

 Funeral services will be held from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster on Thursday, Dec. 31^st at 11AM. Friends will be received from 10Am until the time of service.
