Gervase P. Zeigler, of Lancaster, PA, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009.  Born in Jersey City, NJ, Gervase was the son of the late Eugene and Catherine (Houser) Zeigler.  He was married to Norma M. (Rudes) O'Connell Ziegler. They would have celebrated their sixth anniversary on March 22, 2009.

 Gervase was employed by RCA for 37 years, before retiring in 1975, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.  He enjoyed watching all types of sports on television, solving crossword puzzles, and listening to classical music.

 In addition to his wife, Gervase is survived by his son, Robert E. Zeigler, husband of Barbara Zeigler, of New Castle, DE, and his brother, Eugene Zeigler of Ronks.  He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM being held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Leo Goodman as Celebrant.  There will be viewings Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM, with a Christian Prayer Service at 7:30 PM, and Tuesday morning from 9 until 9:30 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E.
