 Anna
H. Wood (Lynn), 80, of Lititz, formerly of Philadelphia, passed
away, Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Hospice of Lancaster, Mt. Joy.
Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Ann Corcoran
Lynn and John Lynn. Ann was the wife of John Wood Sr. with whom
she celebrated 58 years of marriage this past November 25th.
Ann was
employed by the Clerk of the Courts at the Lancaster County Court
House. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Surviving in
addition to her husband John Wood Sr. are 2 sons; John Wood Jr.
husband of Suzanne of Lancaster, and Stephen Wood husband of Lori
of Newtown, Pa. 2 daughters; Marian Higgins wife of Louis of
Newtown, Pa. and Anita Lynch wife of Timothy of Chalfont, PA, 14
grandchildren, a great grandchild, a sister, Patricia Cassels of
Cape May, NJ. and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Church
of Saint Andrew 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa. 18940 at 10 a.m. with
Rev. Michael Picard as Celebrant. Family and friends will be
received Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral
Home 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz 17543 from 6-8 p.m. The Rosary will
be recited at 7:45. Family and friends may also call on Tuesday
from 9:30-10 a.m. at the church before the service. Interment will
be at Resurrection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem PA.
