Albert P. Sheetz, 80, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Friday, November 6th at his residence after a long illness.

He was the husband of Betty A. Yeager Sheetz, with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage this past August 12th. Born in Shamokin, he was the son of the late Stephen M. and Anna D. Strembo Sheetz.

Albert was a retired beekeeper, who had provided honey to many loyal customers in the Lancaster area. In his early years, he had been a salesman for the American Tobacco Company.

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Albert enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking holiday treats for his friends and family. He and his wife enjoyed their yearly winter trips to Florida.

In addition to his wife, Albert is survived by a son, Edward P. Sheetz, Esq. of Allentown and his three daughters: Susan E. married to David Stavish of Houston, TX, Kathy A. married to Tim Risser of Manheim, and Deborah J. married to John Shuler of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Eric P. Risser, Travis J. Risser, Dustin S. Risser, Michael J. Shuler, and Lindsey N. Shuler; his 4 great grandchildren, and his sister, Anna Varano. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Stephen A. Sheetz.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Tuesday at 11AM, with the Rev.
