Sylvia R. (Reed) Schneider, 88, of Lancaster, passed away, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Hamilton Arms Nursing Home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Julia Reed. Sylvia was the wife of the late Paul F. Schneider who died in 2007. They were married 66 years before his passing.

Sylvia was the Secretary for James E. Weaver and Co. She was a former member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Sylvia was active in Sertoma, drove for Meals on Wheels, and enjoyed traveling.

Sylvia is survived by a daughter; Sylvia Laudenglos wife of James of Pequea.

Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
