Thea M. Rogers, 90, of Lancaster died Friday, July 31, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born May 26, 1919 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late H. Carl and Frances M. Cosgrove Ernst. Thea was the wife of the late Derald E. Rogers who died in October of 1985.

She was a homemaker, who liked to sew, do needlepoint, painting and reading. She volunteered at Lancaster County Public Library.

Surviving are two daughters: Carole A. wife of William Driendl, Lancaster, Sandra E. wife of Donald Perry, Lancaster and a son: Derald T. husband of Lou-Ann Rogers, Bethlehem, PA., nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, George C. Ernst.
