Barbara M.
Pelland, 89, of Lancaster, passed away, Wednesday, February 18,
2009 at Lancashire Hall. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she
was the daughter of the late Frank Sylvester and Margret Sylvester
of Keen, NH. Barbara was the wife of the late Paul A. Pelland who
died in 1975.
Barbara was a
Registered Nurse and did her training at Mercy Hospital in Boston,
MA. and Keen School of Nursing. She was a member of St. John
Neumann Catholic Church.
Barbara is
survived by 3 sons; Paul S. Pelland husband of Jane of Charleston,
SC., Eugene M. Pelland husband of Anneliese of Lancaster, and
Peter D. Pelland husband of Eva of West Orange, NJ. 2 daughters;
Mary E. Wolford wife of Dr. Keith of Virginia Beach, VA., and
Barbara J. Pelland companion of Mark Muscarello of Riverside, CA.
6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Christian
Prayer Service will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Charles
F. Snyder Funeral Home 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz 17543 at 11 a.m.
with Msgr. Richard Youtz as celebrant. Family and Friends will be
received before the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. To send
