Francis
"Frank" N. Morgan, 78, of Manheim, passed away on Tuesday evening
at the Lebanon VA Hospital.
He was the
husband of Nancy J. Gochenaur Morgan, with whom he would have
celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this May
20th. Born in Somerville, MA, he was the son of the late William
and Gertrude Rogers Morgan.
Frank had
worked for the Fuller Co. in Manheim for 10 years until retiring
in 1995. Following his retirement, he worked in logistics at the
Manheim Auto Auction from 1995 until 2005. Prior to working at
Fuller, Frank also worked at the former Schutte Welding Co, Berks
Welding Co., and the Calder Door Co.
He was of the
Lutheran faith, and was a US Army veteran of the Korean War,
serving in Korea as a Specialist 3rd Class. He had also
served in the Army Reserves.
Frank enjoyed
furniture restoration and spending time with his family.
In addition to
his wife, he is survived by his 3 sons: Jeffrey N. of Manheim,
Timothy S. married to Debbie Morgan of Lancaster, and Andrew
married to Sharon Morgan of Lancaster, and by his 5 grandchildren:
Tim Jr., Cassandra, Nathan, Kylie and Garrett. He was preceded in
death by a brother, William.
Friends will
be received on Saturday from 10-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder
Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA with the
funeral service to follow at 11AM, the Rev David Krieder
officiating. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery.In lieu of
