 Mary
Jane (Keen) Mastromatteo, 87, of Lancaster, passed away, Monday,
March 16, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was a resident
of St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Wilmington, Delaware,
she was the daughter of the late Francis Leo and Sarah M.
(Richards) Keen. Jane was the wife of the late Nicholas
Mastromatteo who died in 1994.
Jane was a
loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a
member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Jane was an avid
reader.
Jane is
survived by 3 sons; Michael F. Mastromatteo of Lancaster, John J.
Mastromatteo (Jane) of Lancaster, and Frank L. Mastromatteo (Anne)
of New Baden, IL. 2 daughters; Phyllis J. Chapman (the late
Bankson) of Mountville, and Mary Ann McNerney (Michael J.) of
Lancaster. 6 grandchildren. 8 great grandchildren. 3 sisters;
Naomi A. Lawrence (Nelson), Frances M. Bair, and Eleanor Keen. She
was preceded by a brother; Joseph F. Keen. And a sister; Phyllis
Keen.
A Memorial
Mass will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 at St. Anne's Retirement
Community 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia 17512 at 11 a.m. with Rev.
Daniel Mitzel as celebrant. Interment will be private. In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Anne's
Retirement Community 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia 17512.
