Paula
Janouschek, 85, of Millersville, passed away at home on Sunday,
July 12, 2009, with her family by her side. She was born on
October 22, 1923 in Poland. She was a daughter of the late
Dimetrius Sawzczyn and Anastasia (Rusalowitsch). She is survived
by her husband Karl Janouschek. They were married on September 27,
1950.
Mrs.
Janouschek was of the Roman Catholic faith. She was a survivor of
the Hitler and Stalin Regimes. She worked as a housekeeper for
various businesses and private residences.
In addition
to her husband Mrs. Janouschek is survived by a daughter,
Dr. Christine Janouschek, wife of Dr. Timothy C. Martin of Millersville; a son, Peter
Paul Janouschek of Youngstown, Arizona; and three grandchildren,
Jacob Christian, Luke Aaron, and Daniel Mathias. She was the last
of her immediate family.
Graveside
Services will take place at
Stehman Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery (Greenfield) 485
Indian Run Rd., Millersville, PA 17551 on Friday, July 17, 2009,
at 4:30 PM with Rev. Stephen P. Verkouw officiating. Kindly omit
