 Jeffrey
A. Ising, 61, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Wednesday morning at
his residence.
He was the
husband of Barbara D. Essman Ising, with whom he would have
celebrated 39 years of marriage this coming June 13th.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late George W. and
Helen Schmalberger Ising.
Jeffrey had
spent his career with many firms in the food industry, including
serving as Executive Vice President with Kraft until 1998.
He was a
graduate of Fairleigh-Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ,
earning a BA in Business Management.
Jeffrey had
also served as a Sgt. in the New Jersey National Guard.
In addition to
his wife, he is survived by his son, Scott A. married to Yasemin
B. Ising of New York City, NY, and his daughter Kara D. married
to Gregory Hurst of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by his 2
grandchildren, Hayden Hurst and Maximilian Ising.
Friends will
be received on Sunday from 4-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral
Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. A Memorial Service
celebrating Jeffrey’s life will be held on Monday at 10AM, with
the Rev. Dale Parmer officiating.
