I was so sorry to hear Walt has passed away.
I have many wonderful memories about growing up in Indiana and so many of them involve your family and spending time in your home on River Road.  Sledding on that awesome hill in the back yard, playing in the ravine....many, many great times in your home and ours for soooo many years!
You are all in my prayers!
Love,
Shana Hudson McKinney

At times we all share heavy hearts
No greater than when a loved one departs
We search our heart and soul among our grief
There we find fond memories that gives us relief
Each recorded as a part of life's journey to stand
All imprinted on life like footprints in the sand

Phyllis's farm stories is a part of those memories

Dear Ones,

What a precious guy Walt was!  You will miss him as husband, dad, and grandpa, and we will all miss him as dear friend.

There is always great comfort in the verse that describes the hope of a Christian:  II Peter l:ll "For so an entrance shall be ministered unto Walt abundantly unto the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."  He is with the Lord and we rejoice in that promise.

To each of you, to all of you, I send my love and my prayers,
Dolores Day

I will miss dad so very much.

Love you dad!!!!

Mark
