Florence E. Hardy, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009, at Hamilton Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose Overmyer Wilkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd V. Hardy.

 Mrs. Hardy was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Hardy is survived by a son, Gregory L., husband of Nancy Hardy, of Geneva FL; two daughters: Sharon E., wife of Frederick Dommel, of Lancaster, and Jenny R. Hardy of Whittier, NC; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by three sisters, and one brother.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 11:00 am from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. 414 East King Street Lancaster, with Msgr. Thomas H. Smith as celebrant.
